Each attorney on UpCounsel must have a minimum of 2 years experience practicing law. All attorneys on the site must be in good standing with a state bar association - in fact, UpCounsel will not activate attorneys who have been previously disciplined by a state bar.
Additionally, the attorney must pass an interview process, during which UpCounsel determines whether the attorney will be a good fit.
