How does UpCounsel get paid?

Attorneys pay a processing fee  after clients provide payment on the UpCounsel platform. 

Depending on the nature of the transaction, the fees can range from 3.5% (simple payment processing fee) up to 15% (covering payment processing fee + collections/billing/guaranteed payment services).
