Your may provide either your hourly rate or a fixed-fee bid. If you choose to provide your hourly rate, you’ll be asked to provide an estimate of hours; you can either estimate to the best of your ability or just enter 1 hour and explain in your message that you need more information to determine the length of the assignment.
Bids are not binding, though if the scope of the work changes during the project such that the final invoice would be different than the initial bid, we encourage you to consult the client in advance.
You are free to set your own rates – there are no minimums or maximums. Please remember though that UpCounsel's 10% processing fee will be deducted from the client payment prior to deposit into your account.
