What information should I put in my profile?

Attorneys with strong profiles have more success on UpCounsel.  You can edit your profile by following the Edit Profile link on your account dashboard. In your Biography, you should provide relevant work and educational data as well as notable awards and accolades.  You may use LinkedIn to import Work History and be sure to add Representative Client names to the corresponding section. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the Practice Areas section, please limit your selections to Legal Areas & Subcategories that best represent your current practice focus and expertise. This also ensures that we'll only email you job posts that are relevant to your practice.

 Finally, be sure to note your malpractice insurance coverage status on your profile if you would like this to be shown to clients. You can do this by simply checking off the corresponding box (provision of this information is mandatory for Verified Attorneys).
